国内外で活動するマス・ポストロックを主軸とするスリーピース・インストゥルメンタルバンド。 2016年10月 ミニアルバム『POP MUSIC』をリリース。2017年11月には 1stフルアルバム『Literary Math』を全国リリース。これを機にデジタル配信もスタートし、海外のオルタナロックファンコミュニティを中心にファンが増加。 2018年10月（カナダ） 『NEXT MUSIC FROM TOKYO Vol.13』に参加。Elephant Gym、MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGSらとともに、トロント、バンクーバー、モントリオールで4公演を行う。 2019年 「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 19」ROOKIE A GO-GOステージに出演。 2020年1月～2月アメリカ南部から西海岸全21公演を敢行。 2022年8月イギリス・ブリストルの名門フェス「ArcTanGent」に出演。あわせて7公演のUKツアーを実施。2ndフルアルバム『travels in my universe』をリリースし、イギリス・ブリストルの名門フェス「ArcTanGent」に出演。あわせて7公演のUKツアーを実施。11月には台湾初公演として「Emerge Fest」（Zepp New Taipei）に出演 2023年5月〜6月 UK・フランスにて12公演を開催。イギリスではロンドン、ブライトン、ブリストル、ストラウド、バーミンガム、リーズ、ノッティンガムなどで公演。ロンドンでは「Portals Festival」出演、パリでの単独公演、フランス・ZiniakでのJapan Anime Festivalにも出演。 2024年10月上海で開催された 「Montreux Jazz Festival（モントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバル）」に唯一の日本人アーティストとして出演。あわせて武漢でワンマンライブを開催し、ソールドアウト。 2024年12月Delta Sleep、And So I Watch You From AfarとともにUKツアーを実施。 2025年5月中国・杭州市で開催された「Offside Festival 2025」に出演。12月にはブータンにて国内初のロックフェスとして開催された「Asian Rock Fesival」に招待される。 2026年アルバム「Action」をリリースし国内外でのツアーを開催予定

PROFILE
paranoid void is a three-piece instrumental band rooted in math and post-rock, performing actively in Japan and abroad. In October 2016, they released their mini-album POP MUSIC, followed by their first full-length album Literary Math in November 2017. This release marked the beginning of their digital distribution, drawing attention from overseas alternative rock communities and steadily expanding their fanbase. In 2018, they joined NEXT MUSIC FROM TOKYO Vol.13 in Canada, performing in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal alongside Elephant Gym and MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS. The following year, they appeared on the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’19. From January to February 2020, they embarked on an ambitious 21-show tour across the southern United States and the West Coast. Their international presence grew further in 2022, when they performed at the renowned ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol, UK, and released their second full-length album travels in my universe. That same year, they made their Taiwan debut at Emerge Fest (Zepp New Taipei). In 2023, they toured extensively across the UK and France, with twelve shows including London, Brighton, Bristol, Stroud, Birmingham, Leeds, and Nottingham. Highlights included their appearance at Portals Festival in London, a solo show in Paris, and a performance at the Japan Anime Festival in Ziniak, France. In October 2024, paranoid void became the only Japanese artist to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Shanghai, followed by a sold-out one-man show in Wuhan. Later that year, they toured the UK with Delta Sleep and And So I Watch You From Afar. In May 2025, they appeared at Offside Festival in Hangzhou, China, and in December were invited to perform at Bhutan’s first-ever rock festival, Asian Rock Festival. Looking ahead, in 2026 they are set to release their new album Action and embark on tours both in Japan and overseas, continuing to expand their reach with evolving sound and energy.
