2008年にアルバム『Revision』でメジャーデビュー、主要レコード店のクラブチャートで1位、J-POPチャートで3位を記録。その後も国内外でライブアルバムやプロデュースワークなど、数多くの作品をリリースしてきた。インドネシアやベトナムをはじめとするアジア各地のジャパンフェスティバルへの出演や、ロンドン・ロイヤル・オペラハウスのコンサートマスター、“ヴァスコ・ヴァッシレフ”のバックバンドを務めるなど、国際的な活動でも注目を集めている。 2023年2月、デビュー15周年を飾る東京COTTON CLUBでの公演はソールドアウト。同年5月には約8年ぶりとなるフルアルバム「Spectre (スペクトル)」をリリースし、杭州・上海・広州・深圳で行われた初の中国ツアーもソールドアウト。 2024年にはアルバム『Panorama（パノラマ）』をリリース。北京BLUE NOTEを皮切りに中国9都市を巡るワンマンツアーを成功させるとともに、国内外のフェス出演やビルボードライブ東京での初ワンマンライブなど、ワールドワイドな活動を展開。 2025年8月にはジャズ、ポップ、エレクトロなど、様々なジャンルをBLU-SWINGならではの感性で昇華させた通算7枚目のフルアルバム『GOODTIMES』をリリース。中国大陸、台北、韓国でのワンマン公演も成功させ、進化を続けるサウンドとグルーブで、世界中の音楽ファンを魅了し続けている。

In 2008, BLU-SWING made their major debut with the album Revision, reaching No.1 on the club charts and No.3 on the J-POP charts at leading record stores. Since then, they have released numerous works including live albums and production projects, expanding their creative output both domestically and internationally. Their international activities include appearances at Japan Festivals across Asia such as Indonesia and Vietnam, and serving as the backing band for Vasco Vassilev, concertmaster of the Royal Opera House in London. In February 2023, they celebrated their 15th anniversary with a sold-out performance at Tokyo’s COTTON CLUB. In May of the same year, they released their first full-length album in eight years, Spectre, and embarked on their first China tour across Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen—all sold out. In 2024, they released the album Panorama and successfully completed a nine-city one-man tour in China starting at Beijing BLUE NOTE, while also performing at festivals in Japan and abroad, including their first headline show at Billboard Live Tokyo. In August 2025, BLU-SWING released their seventh full-length album GOODTIMES, blending jazz, pop, and electronic elements with their unique sensibility. With successful one-man shows in mainland China, Taipei, and South Korea, they continue to evolve their sound and groove, captivating music fans worldwide.
